iHandicap Pace is a pace calculator designed to make accurate pace calculations that can give you an edge in your handicapping skills. The calculator will quickly give you a Quarter Pace Number, Final Pace Number and Average Speed for any horse using its past performance data. You can use the past performance data from any source. Since all tracks vary, some are faster than others, the pace numbers are also weighted so that all tracks are equal. A quarter pace value of "800" from one track is the same as an "800" from any other track. Average Speed, given in feet/second, can be used by itself or to decide between horses with similar Pace numbers.
